I’ve wanted to write a book for decades, I’ve been reading for longer. Sometimes I think I started reading before I could walk. All that aside, I’ve learned that once you become obsessive about reading it’s hard to not pick up a knack for writing.
But Writing is hard work, or at least writing well feels like hard work. I wish it felt as easy as reading a book. But for me, it’s not.
I’ve been told I’m speedy reader. Maybe. But it’s just the way I work. When I have to slow down to read a book it just frustrates the living daylights out of me. So you can bet that if I find a GOOD book I’m gonna want to share it.
I’ve read a number of amazing books the last 6months but there are two I’m going to mention now. The first title I finished this year was “The Harbinger” by Jonathan Cahn. I’m not gonna say anything more about it other than it was wonderful. It is a 5 star book. But that’s just me. It struck a chord.
The other book I just read is Freedom Fight by W. Franklin Lattimore. I gotta tell you – this may be a debut book for Frank but his topic (in my opinion) is so worth your reading time and investment. The characters are compelling and his story and plot spine tingling. He masterfully tackles the delicate topic of spiritual warfare…I couldn’t put the book down and I wasn’t a happy camper when I had to. The ending kept me locked and left me ready for his follow up. Frank takes us into the complex world of the “Otherealm,” a world you have to READ about to appreciate.
If you’re interested, here’s where to find it:
I haven’t written my book yet but I want to write suspense/adventure. In the meantime, if you’re looking for a spine tingling, on the edge of your seat roller coast ride – Freedom Fight will fit the bill!
Whether you are writing a book, trying to finish your degree, waiting for a job promotion or tackling a monumental report…remember: It’s only a mountain – you can climb it…don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!
