And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:5
Welcome
Shining A Light in the darkness is my third attempt at blogging. I began in the month of April (25th) with TheWatcherWakes.wordpress.com.
Yes, if you go visit the site, it is still there. I am just unable to actually access it. My journey with that blog ended abruptly on a Friday – October 13 (no joke)
Somehow my password access got really messed up and in a matter of minutes I was shut out!
Then I tried blogger….and found it was not for me. π
God wasn’t done with me yet, though.
“Just try” was all He was asking…All?
So, as my very first blog post on my first blog addressed Obedience…again I return. To serve whatever purpose He has in mind.
I may not understand it…but I will follow –
S0 what is my purpose in Shining A Light? To help you find the spark inside and illuminate the dark – if you’re looking to find it – and together we can light up the night.
I hope you’ll come back and visit. Thank you for browsing my corner of the “blogosphere”
Hi Amy, Welcome!
I tried to visit your blog page, do you have one?
My food journey is evolving. I was a homebaker first & developed my cooking skills over the last 12-15 yrs.
I was diagnosed with Hashimotos/Hypothyroid one yr ago & that has led to massive changes in my eating habits & how I take care of myself;
I now eat as clean as I can.
I still embroider but with less frequency because God needs me to focus on the book (& blogging). The only thing I’d like to check off my list regarding embroidery/sewing is a recycled baby clothes quilt and maybe finish off projects I’ve already started.
Thanks for following!
Blessings,
– Kenzel
Hello & Thank you. Your compliment means a lot. Your reminder of the words I wrote – Not to give in or give up – was what I needed to hear and propelled me to write the latest post: “Where I’ve Been” Blessings, Kenzel

I am new to your blog. God has placed two thoughts on my mind in the last week – real food and embroidery. This morning, I discovered your blog. π
God works in mysterious ways…
I look forward to learning with you.
